Goffstown, New Hampshire
Family Physician · Navy Veteran · 19 year Goffstown Resident
- Change the property tax policies that are crushing Goffstown homeowners
- Keep public dollars in public schools
- An affordable NH where working families can thrive
For 25 years, Chris Calhoun has cared for Goffstown families as a family physician.
He also served for 25 years in the U.S. Navy, 11 of them on active duty.
He’s running to represent you in the New Hampshire House of Representatives because property taxes, our public schools, and housing affordability are all moving the wrong way, and he wants to help change that direction, so young families and seniors alike can thrive in this wonderful town that we call home.

I see our state moving in the wrong direction, property taxes are out of control, public education is under constant attack, and housing is out of reach for many residents. I want to be part of changing that direction, so New Hampshire can again be a place where young people see a bright future for themselves and their children, and seniors can retire without fear of being taxed out of their homes.
What I Will Fight For
Stop the Shift to Property Taxpayers
Republican-controlled state government has pushed more costs onto homeowners in towns like ours. I'll fight for fair funding.
Protect Our Public Schools
Keep public dollars in public education, not diverted away from our classrooms.
Fair Tax Policy
New Hampshire ranks dead last in state support for public schools. We need to do better.
Stand Up for Working Families
Make New Hampshire affordable for the people who live and work here, not just the wealthy.
Housing families can afford
Housing is out of reach for too many. Work to make Goffstown a place where families can afford to live.
Listening and problem solving
I want to bring a family doctor's perspective to Concord: listen to others, work together to solve problems.
This seat is won a few votes at a time.
Goffstown State Rep races are usually decided by razor's edge margins. Your help makes the difference.
